| Message | Thanks Bill for taking the time to set up this site. Darrel McDaniel informed me about your efforts and I am glad he did. Hopefully I will be able to hear from anyone who remembers me. Some of the graduates following 1949 might recall that my wife Jan and I were in charge of the Ottawa Youth Center in 1952 and 1953. Unfortunately Jan passed away in 2006. My career includes time in the USMC,The Boeing Company and Saudi Aramco. Tours in the USMC included Japan, Okinawa, South Vietnam and bases in North Carolina and California. Work with Boeing required living in Seattle,WA, Huntsville,AL, and Houston, TX. Saudi Aramco involved work in Houston and Saudi Arabia. Following my wife's passing I have spent a good share of my time traveling with Joan Thompson, the wife of my good friend Keith Thompson (class of 49). Keith passed away in 1995. Again many thanks for setting up the site. |

| Message | Hi All: Thanks, Bill, for a great site. Nice to catch up on what everybody has been up too since the good ol' 50's. I retired from thirty years Sales and Marketing Management in July 2005. Becky and I celebrated 30 years of marital bliss this past Feb. 14th (yes, on Sweetheart's Day!). For the past 25 years we've been doing craft shows in KS and MO. She is a clay artist doing free form clay miniature sculptures. I'm a Certified Gourdhead growing, crafting and selling hardshell gourds. Ebay>Advanced Search>Search By Seller>gourdmandan. Keeping busy in something you love is important after retirement. We also enjoy trips in our motorhome, camping, fishing and just hanging around together. Blessings on you all. Danny |
