Had a brilliant time at the Robin, Bilston last Thursday. I hadn't seen the band since the 70's - they were better than ever. The sound was distorting really badly though which was a shame.

alex and the boys years ahead of their time , heard them first as a kid growing up in the 70,s due to older brother, re discovered 2005, check out inside the dvd if you already havent. zal now getting the recognition he has deserved for years. dont stop rocking!!

Just back from Islington Academy - great gig. Zal and the Boys played a mean tune even though they were a little bit late on coming on stage.

I have been a SAHB fan since 1976-it was the first 'proper' gig that i had seen at Portsmouth Guildhall and foolishly I thought that all bands would treat me to the exceptional brand of musical theatre that has always been the SAHB trademark!! I was fortunate last Saturday night to meet Max and (very briefly) Zal and Hugh after the Southampton gig - It was a fantastic gig gents -and thank you so much for providing inspiration in this musical world of mediocrity! music is music if it makes your heart beat faster - SAHB have always done that!!
