| Message | Alex was a great influence on me and my music. About 7 years ago, I flew to Scotland and went to the Govan Town Hall, where, according to Fodor's Rock and Roll Great Britain, there is a plaque in honour of Alex. Lo and behold, when I got there, I searched and searched for a long time to find it. The caretaker told me that it was nicked about a month before I got there. I was not too upset though, I was able to visit not too far from where Alex grew up. That was a great honour for me, as is signing this book. Alex was a great influence on my music as much as Chris was on my bass playing. To the new S.A.H.B., I wish you much success and hopefully a tour to the states, especially Cleveland, Ohio, where Alex and the boys always had a large following. I have many pics of Alex that were taken by Janet Macoska, another Clevelander. And as a side note, the first concert I ever went to was to see Alex at the Cleveland Agora. I was underage, but managed to sneak in. I was mesmorised. I was never the same after that. Thank you Alex and thank you band. I am so glad to see you carrying on. Happy New Years!!! Cheers!!!!!!!!
