MessageI just want to say that The Fountain completely blew me away. I can't believe that it was not more popular with the critics and audiences. You demonstrated the timelessness of eternal truth, the fragility of life, and the frustration of running counter to them. The mythical feeling combined with science and astronomy tied together beautifully, and delivered a deep impression of reality. The nova and the boiling sun surface during the credits was so freaking good!

MessageHi, Darren it was nice watching Requiem of a dream, there is more life which can be flashed , aspects of living and dying for humans , multiculturalism, and ofcourse governance of politics by religion , a serious topic to discuss and make. Some more can be discussed and presented which is controversial and need worldwide attention.

MessageDear Darren,

You are, to me at least, the greatest director of this generation. I have seen Requiem, The Wrestler, and The Fountain countless times, and I learn something new every time I watch it. You inspire me to go into filmmaking, and to have my stories shown on the big screen.

Sincerely,

Sean

MessageI just wanted to tell you I have seen every movie you have been a part of, and your work is entirely genius. I love Black Swan and Pi especially, but Requiem and The Wrestler are great too. Even Below was pretty thrilling. I am in the middle of writing a "career thriller" as you have now done with a mathematician, a crack dealer, a wrestler, and a ballerina. Maybe when I'm done I can pitch you the idea, it would be a dream of mine to work with you. Thanks!

MessageI'm a fan! I want you to pray about making a movie. I've been writing a book for ten years now. I live in China now, and am nearly finished. The name of the book is called: The tenth Being. Its about God,nine beings mand before man., and a book of prayers that come from my dreams...ties in with Chinese race being the race after the flood, at the Tower of Babel. I think you can help me most tell my story....and my findings..I will share more information later. Thanks for the opportunity...I'm an American from Atlanta Georgia...living in Jiaxing Zhejiang China

MessageI've been a huge fan of yours ever since I saw Requiem for a Dream five years ago during my sophomore year of high school. Not gonna lie, I had decided to watch it because I was madly in love with Jared Leto at the time. Ha, oh silly celebrity crushes. But Requiem remains my absolute favorite - I've rewatched it countless times, and the film is how I realized that I have a taste for darker themes in film and literature - Chuck Palahniuk, Bret Easton Ellis, Haruki Murakami...I began to plow through their novels in the years after watching Requiem and Pi. The Fountain was wonderful, The Wrestler was powerful, and Black Swan....wow, that movie was like a kick in the gut. A beautiful, devastating kick in the gut.

I thank you for all of the fantastic work that you've done, and that I'm sure you will continue to do - I'm glad to see that films as powerful and thought-provoking as yours are being seen by audiences worldwide, even if they do have to share screens with the Generic Explode-y Action Flicks of the world.
