| Message | Great to see the site straight from the source. Love the films. Just wanted to put this out there...not sure what the rights issues are, but there is a DVD magazine called Wholphin (wholphindvd.com) which is a quarterly subscription where the magazine is actually a DVD with shorts and other little seen films. If there was anyway to get Supermarket Sweep or Protozoa out into the public, this would be a great venue to look into. They have already released Alexander Payne's student film and next issue will have a PT Anderson lost gem as well. Check it out and hopefully if Darren is reading this, you can see about maybe allowing everyone to view the beginning of your masterful career. Thanks, keep making quality flicks. |

| Message | THE FOUNTAIN is the most wonderful movie I've seen for a very long time. Really, it's a masterpiece. I loved it so much, that I bought a few DVDs to make gifts for friends and hope that more and more people will get to know and appreciate it. | Message | first of all I am glad a site like this exists, so I can get the latest news and infos about new projects and anything else. as well as opinions of other people. about "The Fountain" ... wow ... I still wanna watch this movie, even so I already saw it so often (I bet lots of people will agree with me on that). I still find it difficult to classify and sort this movie, cause I think it's something "new" ... in it's own way. I bet lots of other people will appreciate this movie even more in some years. like many (or all :P) the people I had to wait long for this ... and it was worth it. I had to take a little journey to see it cinema ... and I watched it twice (two different cities). I look forward for the next movie and somehow I am sure I will like and love the movie ... Darren Aronofsky hasn't disappointed me yet. maybe he can't hehe |

| Message | Thank you for making this commentary for the film. I regard The Fountain very highly, and take something different away from it every time I watch it. I had previously made several of the visual connections that were talked about, but it was wonderful to hear about the process of creation, as well as the stories about the actors and their styles. The film is so lush and profound on every level-from acting, to lighting, to music, and it's a great accomplishment that the cast and crew should be proud of. Thanks again. I look forward to your next film. |
