MessageI knew it. You found a bad bulb that caused the display to go dark. I bet it was the one my son pulled out last year.

Kudos to you. You the man. Thanks for shedding light on the hood.

see you under the lights. You need an apprentice to carry-on and help you. Maybe some young computer geek.

MessageCollingwood Lights Status Report - Though my house has remained dark, I have been working hard on putting something together for 2015. As most of you know I toasted controllers one after another and was going under the premise that the bad controllers were causing the display to go bonkers. It seems the controllers were a symptom of a bigger problem and not the actual cause. All of my programming for 2015 has been corrupted and the software that I use to animate itself compromised. Hopefully, I'll be able to get it straightened out in 2016. In the meantime, at least so far, I have been able to manually start last years show which I saved on a SD card. Not all the components light up as I have not yet replaced all of the controllers that have been lost, but I was at least successful in running something. Hopefully, I will be able to run like this the remainder of 2015. This has been both the worst and the best Christmas I can remember. First, absolutely devastated over the display and then completely overwhelmed by my communities support. Thank You!

MessageWe took our 2 year old granddaughter to see your lights and were saddened to see the "NO LIGHTS" sign in the yard, but after investigating, understand about your controllers going out. We have been making a trip to your amazing Christmas show every year for at least 25 years with our daughters and now our granddaughter. I just donated to help out with getting the controllers replaced/repaired. You have brought us so much joy over the years, it's the least we can do. God bless you and your family.

MessageI visit family in Collingwood each year at Christmas time and always stop to see the lights and listen to the music. What a wonderful show. Thank you for keeping the spirit alive! Hope to help.

MessageHope you are able to get your controllers replaced: just made a little donation. I have so enjoyed your work, the least I can do is kick in a little on the replacement costs.

I suggest you put your "donate" button on every page of your site. I only found it by reading the guestbook: one person pointed out that the donate button is on the videos page.

Once I heard about your controllers going out, I started looking for placed to donate. Make it easy for folks to find that button! Not everyone will keep looking like I did.

Merry Christmas!
