MessageI really like the update news and information posted by KTWG. One suggestion is... can you make the Karen font bigger? So that I can see it clearly.

Best regards,

MessageI live in Chiang Mai but visited Mae Sot recently and lucky enough to witness some of the wonderful work being carried out to assist refugees.
It is so tragic that human beings can treat innocent children and adults so badly.
Keep up the wonderful work, the children need you so much.

MessageI work with a church that has a Refugee Resettlement Ministry in the US. Most of the refugees we work with are from the Karen State. I am looking for a resource to learn the Karan language. I am hoping to find an organization that offers some kind of full emersion, 3-4 week Karan Language “boot camp” type intensive training program. I have found many resources for Burmese language training but no Karen.
I have also found a number of sites that provide some basic Karen language skills on line but I am looking for something more in depth.
Do you have any suggestion of who might offer this type of training either in the US or in SE Asia?
Any help you can offer will be greatly apperciated

Many thanks in advance
James

MessageHello!

I am a teacher who works at a school in Wales, United Kingdom. My mother is Karen living in England and I have many relatives in Burma. I would be interested in coming to visit/help out in school in the refugee camps if possible and am looking for information on how to achieve this. I am hoping to get leave from my school. I would be most grateful if you could send me some information about this and how we can support you

with very best wishes

Sylvia
