MessageLike you said: we must now not be too openly gay. You know, I turned down a guy who looked OK, but his profile said: straight acting.

MessageThanks for showing me this documentary. I know i was not impressed with the exhibition, but at the same time i realised this had to be made palatable for underage schoolchildren. Which sort of counts me out as a spectator. I might be biased but I liked de Amsterdam expo around 1989 better, because it showed more of personal lives of people, and that is what we are people, not zoo exhibits

MessageI'd take unshaven Hugh Laurie over any twinkie any day. Plus, that character House is based on Sherlock Holmes. What's not to like?

MessageOk Martin, maybe that was a bit of over-reacting. I try not to really avoid discussions with people I do not agree with, but sometimes I just lose it, especially after getting a heap op mails this week telling me that I would surely burn in hell.

I'll try in the future to keep things on a respectful level, even if it is with anonymous senders, who have no intention of respecting me.

I do keep in close contact with the HIV community and with some of the guys there I have really fruitful discussions. Hence some special attention for world aids day in my weblog this week.

MessageI think Ad is overreacting in his most recent post. 'God' in that post was just a colloquialism.
I'm afraid the joys of barebacking mentioned here as frequently as they are, give reason to only one interpretation...

MessageJust have to react to previous anonymus message by PJ (IP adress is 58.168.233.36) :
The art sites I run delftboys.com and queerart .nl do use a payed subscription but there is no personal income gained from it in any way. As is stated on various pages there, the site is run by a Dutch foundation, which produces a yearly public report on its finances and activities. The goal of the foundation is to promote homo erotic art and give it the place in our culture that it deserves.
Secondly, I am way over 50, so if you want respect, you should give it first.
Thirdly: I am, like most Europeans not religious, so do keep your blasfemy to yourself. I detest some Americans that use the name of god in every other sentence and presume the rest of the world is just as oversaturated with religious fanatics.
Last: I may have taken some choices in my sexual practices; I may also be open about it, but I do not advocate anything! I have decades of close hand experience with HIV; have a biohazard tat on my abdomen, don't fuck guys without informing them.
