MessageJust wondered whether you've come across this website Help From Home (do a Google search for helpfromhome) which might give you some ideas for changing the world. It features volunteering opportunities which can be done from your own home. I actually set it up to do my little bit to change the world.

BTW, I go under the name of NumboJumbo over at the Kiva Friends forum. I mostly post stuff under the 'Marketing Strategies' section. We've conversed a few times in the past.

All the best

MessageThe impact of history is felt not by the troubles that challenge us, but by what we do with those circumstances. In this way Julia,we know you are triumphant. You and Koska are lifting the time continuum to a positive level. Bless you.

MessageJulia,
I love your blog, and your philosophy of making a better world and having a good time. I wanted to let you know about my volunteer work at the local prison. I teach decision making skills one-on-one using a program called Thresholds.

This is a men's prison and I am on my 5th student (12 weeks/once a week)The guys I've worked with have had some really really tough lives, and some of the things they've done--well, not good. I always like it, since I love to teach, and also enjoy getting to know people. My current student has a great sense of humor. Thanks again for your blog.

I am thinking about starting my own blog, and I guess I am passionate about writing, humor, and a couple of volunteer work things like Thresholds. Let me know if you have any tips for me.
Ana
