MessageMy brother Ken Perrine and I served in the Navy during overlapping years. Ken was on the Randolph as an Aviation Electronics Technician and was aboard during the Grissom recovery and during the collision with the freighter. He has some vivid and graphic recollections of the collision. Ken served four years, was honorably discharged and then attended Duke University and the University of South Carolina and was awarded a Bachelors' degree, a Masters degree and a PhD. Ken worked at a nuclear systems company in South Carolina and is retired. He is healthy, wealthy, and wise, married, two adult children and three beautiful grandchildren. I'm proud to be his brother.

MessageI am looking for info on my dad, Jerry Hickey. I believe he was on the Randolph beginning in 1952/3. He later went into Intelligence in the late 50's and was based in Italy, Norfold, VA, then ending up and retiring in San Diego at NASNI around 1975 or so.Any stories good, bad or ugly I want to know. I just found him 5 weeks befre he passed on November 15, 2008. He also has 4 other chidren who were lucky enough to grow up knowing him.
