MessageDear Jason, I am the mom of a MN Lax player and PJ has been so good to have talked about you to the boys. Your blog is really interesting, even though Chad says you can't write, I don't agree. I can't imagine having my son so far from home. You are doing an amazing job, keep up the peace, we pray for you and hope you remember some fond memories of MN..... I am sure it seems so many worlds away. Be Well, Stay Safe and Thank You for your courage, and for being such a brave guy. Freedom is an awesome thing. We have only the guys like you to thank for protecting the moms and kids like me!!! God Bless America. Keep the faith. B. Bell AKA: Alex's mom

MessageHowdy do,

I play for the M N Lax team and we were told about your blog by coach P.J. I read your postings and found everything very interesting! I would agree with you on Kansas being just empty, as I have driven through it a couple of times going home. I think that what you and every other soldier does is terrific and all of us are forever in debt to you guys. It is very unfortunate of how you were redeployed, especially after just getting married. Nice to see that there are other people out there that no matter what the circumstance still just dicides to cowboy up and git-r-done! Well good luck out there and thanks again for all that you guys do!!!

MessageI'm not really in Monaco Jas, I've just always thought it would be a cool place to visit. Maybe after you're done your little vacation in the desert we'll make a trip. So I hope you don't mind, but the M.N. Lax team is staying abreast of all of your adventures through your blog. We are all so very proud of you! I told my guys about you and they all want to know what what can be done to make your stay a little more comfortable over there.
As for me, I stay on top of reading this so write as often as possible man. When reading of your limo ride I couldn't help recalling being in your wedding. I was laughing thinking about how I sat in the limo bus having beers and talking to the driver because I felt weird being an usher and seating people. I don't think you ever knew about that!
Well I've taken up enough space for now. I miss you more than I can even tell you (especially for golf!). Maybe you can work on your sand game over there, it needs it. I love you bud - be safe.

MessageHey Jason!
I just finished reading your blog. I accidentally read it in the wrong order (I don't read blogs that often smilie) It sent me through a rollercoaster of different emotions- I know it's not comparable to the emotions you have/are feeling.
I honestly feel silly admitting this but, as I was reading I was impressed with your extensive use of vernacular. I believe that stems from talking to munchkins/little language learners for 8 hours a day. But still, kudos on your writing abilities!
I feel like I am echoing the sentiments of other’s but…..my thoughts and prayers are with you. I don’t know if it’s possible or plausible but I will ask anyway- is there an address or location that we could send snail mail to?
Be safe....talk to you soon!
Eve

MessageGood thing they give you kneepads for your Osgood Schlatters! I miss you! Rach's having trouble with all the cables, phones, computer stuff at home. You better give someone a crash course on your technical equipment before you're deployed! Hang in there. It's March already!
Can you take Patrick with you? JK Love you!! Mom
