MessageI just read in NYT about you and I am thrilled beyond words that something like this is happening in India.

The irony here is that fighting corruption in India is the same as fighting Government. Is there a politician in a public office in India and not being corrupt?
Nepotism, Greed, Contempt for the law, they are the primary attributes of the people in Indian political system.
The civil servants follow their masters, and this corrupt behaviour percolates to the lowest level.
But who is going to take on these powers?
If we bring out few cases, may be that is a good beginning. With the IT revolution, spreading literacy and awareness things should change in long term. But I wouldn't expect anything to happen in a short term.

All I can do at this point is wish you all the best. I can do a donation for the cause, if you set up a link on your web site.

MessageMrs. Kumar:

"Never doubt that a small group of concerned citizens can change the world. Indeed it the only thing that ever has."---Margaret Mead.

I admire your courage and determination. Things will change because of people like you. You have made us all very very proud. I am confident this is the beginning of a movement that will make the corrupt running with their tails between their legs.

MessageHello

Corruption. This word corruption has become a synonymous of working. The moment we think about it our minds are filled with frustration and we feel hopeless about removing it. Of course, it seems almost impossible to remove it because majority of people in today's world are corrupt (and there is a reason behind that and only God knows why that is the case). BUT the saying "Where there is a will there is a way" is always applicable in human life. But here the will of one person will not solve the problem. Collective efforts of many people are required and your website is doing the same thing. I appreciate your effort. Keep fighting. We are all with you.

MessageHi,

You and your husband are really great. India does need people like you. But the problem is that these corrupt people are so much thick skinned that mere blogs would not suffice. I would suggest you to could get photo/pictures of the corrupt officials & circulate through mails giving links to this site.

We have enough of software engineers circulating mails daily. They would only be too happy to see the pic of a shameful citizen & will do their best to circulate among 100 others.

Atleast I hope that would bring the culprits to some amount of shame. Maybe their daughters/sons feel ashamed to face their friends & persuade their fathers to cease their blamsphemous behaviour. All the best.
