MessageThe Blazers are extremely happy with their franchise defenceman being relocated to an up and coming team to the NHL's contenders - the Flames. (okay - contender in a couple more years)

Its nice I don't even need to trade for a favorite Flame - I already have him!!! smilie

MessageAfter an internal and external review, it would seem appropriate to award the playoff title to Brown.

MessageDidn't this happen once before where Goon proclaimed himself champ only to be corrected? The Goon management team is a laughing stock right now.

As far as I know, we have always used goals as the first tiebreaker.

MessageMy favourite part was when Jeff declared victory with 6 points after himself noting that he needed 7 points for the victory. smilie smilie smilie

MessageI would question the validity that it is standard policy to use goals as the tiebreaker. I would suggest that a pre-count was conducted and Rob found a category that he had the edge and pronounced that the tie-breaker. The Express will be conducting our own investigation into the tie-breaker protocol.

MessageWe can now declare the Blazers the winner - 35 goals by their players, while the Express players scored 20.

MessageIt seems there is a tie b/t the Blazers and the Express for the secondary FHL title, this year's 2015 play-off pool. I have not crunched the numbers yet, but the tie-breaker in the FHL is goals, then wins. Unfortunately GM Derksen, MVP trophies aren't reflected in the stats.

We'll declare a winner on this site soon after tabulating the goals scored.

MessageIncredible night for The Express. Crawford and Keith pulled out superb performances to snatch victory away from Brown. With Keith's Conn Smyth win I would argue The Express lay claim to the FHL playoff crown. Congrats to Brown on a hard fought playoff race!!
