| Message | All FHL Owners/GMs - for clarification on the Duke franchise matter: Gm/Owner Dan Hiebert had a conversation with me during the off season stating his desire and needs at this time. He will operate in an ownership type capacity only and will give full autonomy to his new GM candidate. This year will be a test year for the new GM and for this particular arrangement. Thank you Dan for your help on finding a suitable GM for the situation your franchise finds itself in. We wish you well on your year off (or so . . ?)and hope you return well rested. On another note, we do need to come up with a draft date - sometime during the weeks of Sep. 25 - Oct. 6 (we will need to stay away from the thanksgiving longweekend - I will be away on a holiday in AB). For me personally, Tues/Wed. evenings are out. Please post your availability during those weeks asap. |
