| Message | Reapers - got it, updated Jeff is right, the original proposal C is currently on page 26 (dated 2015-08-27 10:20) and it says "4. 2 more waiver rounds are conducted using same draft order sequence. (UFAs are may not be drafted during these rounds)" Jeff!! You are also correct about the prospect pick! Thank heavens, otherwise I wouldn't have a prospect pick till 20/21. This was part of the Giroux/Weber/Hall/Carlson deal. All fixed on the spreadsheet... missing changes added in bold in 'Future trades' section. Crossed off ones have been applied. |

| Message | I just re-read the document that Commish Rob produced last year prior to this new scheme, and it described that we each make 2 selections after the 2nd batch of protections (when we protect an additional 5 players, ie step 4) |

| Message | Protection list and Draft re-fresher 1. teams submit 15 player protection list (prospects are omitted from this list, as they are already protected) 2. 1 rd of waiver picks. Each team can choose 1 player that is no protected from another team's list. 3. teams submit 5 more players to be protected (not including the one they just picked). 4. 2nd rd of waiver picks by each team. 5. All remaining players that were not claimed nor protected by each respective team remain on their roster adding to their total players going into the regular 3 round draft. 6. In the case that a team loses more players than they have draft picks for to bring their roster to the minimum of 27 players by the end of the regular 3 rd draft they will be given enough picks at the end of the draft to fill their roster. |
