| Message | I wouldn't let you have Forsberg if you begged for him.  Yeah Dan sure took advantage of me last season, stealing Sundin, Recchi, Schneider, Spacek and any other old bum with 1 year left I could get him to steal...  It's gonna take years to recover from that FHL lesson... That said, I'm not saying I beat Dan on deals, they were pretty clearly win win deals until the whole Kessel futures got outta control... A quote from GM Goon from the last year of Banter: " I am currently in year 4 of a 5 year plan to producing a consistent contender, and my track record shows a steady prgression of development."... so Goon we're moving into year 5... I'll be paying close attention. |

| Message | I'll leave it up to Philly to tell me what the right moves are this off season to make me a contender. I know it is surely not trading for Forsberg. I'll probably need to crawl into bed with Philly the way Dan did last summer, and had his way with you while you had the covers over your eyes. |

| Message | I would put Goon in the contender category with Cam and Dan, IF he makes the right moves in the offseason... When Forsberg signs in the offseason for 2 years and is in the top 15 in scoring at Christmas next year I'll keep it in mind that Kernel still doesn't want him. So that topic's now played out until Christmas... let's move onto a new one... Blazer, how's Bertuzzi doin?  and Kernel, how's losing to Rob for the first 6 years and losing to Dan for the next 4 working for you? |

| Message | First of all, congrats to the Dukes. But seriously Philly, who are you going to trade Forsberg too. He only makes sense to trade to a contender. Hmm, there are 2 major contenders (maybe 3). All others are not interested in a player like Forsberg. Of the major contenders it seems like the Terror would not be interested. That leaves the Dukes. Langkow would've been a solid player that would fit a number of teams rosters - many as a depth forward who still has some solid years ahead of him making him more of an asset of worth among more teams in the FHL. But why am I giving you FHL lessons? |

| Message | Well boys, it's been a long journey.. A year of adjustment from being the cute team at the bottom that's really excited to have acquired a couple extra picks for next years draft to being at the top of the standings, peeling away precious long term resources to stay at the top. First, let's get this over with:  It turned out that expansion was just the catalyst this team needed to pry a few aging winners off the 5 time champs' roster. The veteran presence of Sundin and Schneider was a key element in the team's confidence in 2007-08. The single player that keyed this championship run was Evgeni Nabokov. For a team to dethrone the Blazers' amazing duo, a miracle season like this seemed necessary. Starting in 77 games, winning 46 with 6 shutouts, Nabokov combined with Miller and March fill-in Hasek to form the best producing goalie tandem. The blockbuster 9 player deal at the end of November to bring elite D man Brian Rafalski over was big in addressing the lack of depth at the position. And of course, the Russians added some sizzle to the top of the lineup, Malkin and Kovalchuk both in the Top 10 in NHL scoring. Check your mail for parade route maps, they'll be going out early this week.. |

Congrats on the second place  Maybe if you sent me an offer instead of talking about how bad taking Forsberg over Langkow was... p.s. 14pts in 9 games. Good luck in the playoff race.. I can't even ice a full roster cause my whole team missed the playoffs... |
