| Message | Gentlemen, My apologies for being off the grid for the last month...I just returned from Asia, where I was scouting talent for next season's Eppsters roster. Congratulations to the Dukes -- the team certainly earned its championship this year. One point of order...GM Phil, you said Kernel "lost to the Blazers for the first 6 years and will lose to the Dukes for the next four". For the record, Kernel and everyone else lost to the Eppsters the first year...which was the last year of my dynasty. |

| Message | We all know that when Dan tells Phil to trade him Sedin, it will be for a 4th round pick and a pat on the head.  But on a serious note, it has been a good year. Dan, you are full value for the win. You out manoeuvered all of us during expansion and made the needed moves to keep on top. And Phil, you are right that this expansion process was more stringent than the last. Probably too much. But it will just make it all the more sweet if you get to the top. Now it's off to the beaches of Mexico...  |

It'll be funny when Dan trades me for Forsberg and Sedin this year and wins again while you just sit there screaming "foul play! Langkow was better! They keep trading with each other! No fair! I'm in the mix!" when the whole time they could've been on your team instead of his... Hockey pools are for winning, making trades, trash talk and having fun... I'm trying to do all of the above although winning isn't even coming up over the distant horizon yet. I do guarantee one thing, I'm moving forward.. MY LAST WORDS ON EXPANSION: If you'd check the records I didn't start complaining about the expansion, Goon took a shot at me while we were chirping about our rebuild plans and I merely pointed out that Goon and Duke had it MUCH cushier in their expansion process than I did, on top of that Goon joined once folded and then restarted... You took it out of context and personally and chose to defend your honor and your expansion process... and I'm not one to run from any debate. You can't deny the fact that I was left in ROUND 2 with decisions for guys that noone in the FHL would even offer me a 4th round redraft pick for. | Message | cam, you've had the first overall midseason pick the last two seasons. who'd you get those picks from? if the briere deal (72 points) never went down, you wouldn't have got the 3rd overall pick off philly with which you took roy (81 points). you worked an expansion scenario trade with phil just the same as i did. i've done just as many trades with mr chowtown over the past year as i have with philly. believe me, phil's a pain in the ass to trade with.. it just so happens that our teams' trade appetites are completely opposite and we each had a surplus of assets that had more value for the other GM. philly parlayed the sundin into gagner via pick #13. philly turned one of the other three picks from the briere deal into kane. should i keep going? i say win/win.. you say boo/hoo.. i got through expansion relatively unscathed because i had stockpiled 7 redraft picks for two seasons and had no depth on defense. the two biggest rip off trades of the year had nothing to do with the dukes. i'm sensing a lot of bitterness in the constant excuses for your team's finish. your propaganda is influencing some of the more impressionable GMs. |

And Goon, I can tell you how to run your team Philly-style... 1. Pass on all the prime talent by trading down in the draft 2. Make wild, groping in the dark draft picks 3. Bend over for Dan 4.
