| Message | That won't work on Ovechkin... They need to play Malkin and Kovalchuk that way... hit them any and every chance they can... intimidate them after the whistle... but Ovechkin they need to have Morrow, Bergeron or Toews just play very smart defensive hockey against him... stay 3 or 4 yards between him and the canadian goal... give him only room enough that he's not gonna beat you with his speed. But really, it's just all of our other lines that need to dominate the depth of Russia... this needs to be: our 1st line =< their 1st line our 2nd line >= their 2nd line our 3rd line >> their 3rd line our 4th line >>>>> their 4th line. Holy crap everytime the promoscreen with crosby and AO comes on CTV I pretty much puke... this has the potential to be the biggest game we will ever see. |

| Message | Saw the Swiss/Norway game live - bought the tickets 1 and 1/2 ago not knowing the pools or who was playing and ended up with that game. That being said - the game was great - the swiss team was way better, but Norway showed the underdog heart and pulled off the reg. tie. But I did gain an appreciation for the Swiss squad - they're good - and I hope they knock of the Americans! |

| Message | The best part of my week is that I have class tonite and tomorrow nite. I like what I am seeing in these new line combos. Hopefully they stick together past the first 5 minutes. This is it for Thornton, if he's not cutting it, move Toews into that spot. Its real easy to see why San Jose never wins in the playoffs. And, Luuuuuuuuuu!!!! |
