| Message | i'm good with running it.. playoff pools are tough to get off the ground, especially this set up, in the 2-3 day window. we'll use the rules from last year obv. should we skip the draft since we only have 24 hrs to make 8 picks???? or run the likely scenario of getting everything going a day or two late? i'd say the draft is fun.. start picking! |

| Message | this is beginning to sound like a broken record - again, sorry for lack of involvement - just call it the year of the crisis pastor. if Dan or Cam wants to oversee this play off pool including nailing down the rules and entering it in pick up hockey I'm game for that. My next week looks brutal (re:crisis of a family in my church). As for the new rules re: FHL parody we should continue to talk on that for awhile. |

| Message | here's what we did last year: Supplemental draft - each team allowed one pick to put on their roster before the play-offs begin. The draft order will be from last to first based on the regular season pts this year. you can pick any player not on an FHL roster - and keep them for entire play-offs. They do not have to be on your starting play-off roster, but act as a player on your farm available to bring up. 1. Post your 6 player line up. Shortened roster = 3 forwards, 2 d and 1 goalie. 2. Post your 8 winners for rd 1, 4 winners for rd 2, 2 winners for rd 3 and then your stanley cup champion (please use brackets around each round) for example - rd 1 (NJ, PIT, WAS, BOS, SJ, DET, VAN, CAL) rd 2 (NJ, PIT . . . etc) Drops are allowed at the end of each round. |
