I think it should be: everybody loses 1 4th rounder from the next two drafts (as those are the only two years where 4th rounders have been traded). If you do not have a 4th rounder (e.g. me next year) nothing changes. If you have traded yours away, but gained two more (e.g. Terror next year) you still lose 1. The rule doesn't make sense as worded in the proposal because Terror would still get two 4th rounders next year. |

| Message | Time to talk about a rule change. This one has been bantered about quite a bit but nothing has ever been done about it. Since we changed to a 4th round and added another mid-season pick to create more league-wide movement and tough decisions for GMs we have noticed a drop off in talent (esp. by the 3rd round of the re-draft). One GM has proposed that we remove the fourth round completely from the draft here on out (except for those who have acquired any 4th rounders through trades in the past - they would still pick as though there were a 4th round). We would also increase the prospect draft to include a 2nd round in this coming season. To summarize this proposal- 1. drop next year's 4th round. 2. add a round to next year's prospect draft. Please vote and/or give feedback to this proposal. |
