MessageI remember when you came to my apartment after a pistons game and I was watching the Notebook. You plopped down on the couch next to me and said "Oh I cried like a baby when I watched this movie, Ang why are you crying?" ha ha... Speaking of pistons games... Remember when we missed Ron Artest jumping into the stands by 5 min. We left because they were losing so bad and turned on the radio in the car on the way home and heard the whole thing. We raced back to my parents house so we could watch it on ESPN. Ha 5 min. I still have that ticket in my wallet with your initials on it. I think of you a lot Doug. Jessy and I were talking about you a few weeks ago and I just couldn't get you out of my mind. Happy Belated Birthday... i miss you!

MessageEvery Saturday morning while watching X-men you would always stop by. Never knocking. Never ringing the door bell. In you would strut, stop and smile at me, head to the kitchen, grab the Entenmann's cake (with two forks) come back in the living room and join me for a nutritious brunch before heading out and playing street hockey with the guys. It's a simple memory, but it's ours. I miss you so much.

Love,
Eden

MessageDoug, everytime i find myself telling stories i tell the one about Lori's wedding. I was locked in the basement of some raggidy old cabin with one channel that happened to be the tv guide and no food. My aunts, yes even YOU JOANNE, locked the doors so that i couldn't get out, that is until you came busting threw the downstair doors wondering what i was doing... I hadn't been happier to see you in my entire life. I explained how i was locked down there and he proclaimed that we had to go out, be it at the time i was about 13. He said he knew a pool hall around there even though we were in the mountains of North Carolina and he clearly had no idea where it was or where we were even going. We got into the jimmy and just drove till finally out of the grace of god found a "pool hall" I was in shock that he was so persuasive with the bartender to let a young punk like me into the bar at the early hours of the morning but sure enough doug waved for me to come in. We shot pool and just talked, mostly about girls or some brawls he had been in, but we talked. No one really gets why i tell this story all the time but at the time it meant alot to me that a cousin i barely knew and was older than me took the time to take me out and show me a good time. I miss you alot man and see you in peyton (sorry if i spelled that wrong taylor) everyday. And don't worry if anyone touches your sisters i will remember your protectiveness when i am "talking" to them.

MessageSeems like yesterday. It was the coldest day in years. All the schools were closed. Burton Elementary was at Science Camp. Dougie and Stevie were on the porch. It was 70 below.
Our summer weekends consisted of hours at Burton's baseball field, watching them play, showering and then dinners at Como's. Miss those days. Miss you Doug.
Much love,
Joanie
(Stevie Litwin's mom)
