MessageOn behalf of all of my family can we thank everyone at the club for the wonderful day that you gave us on Saturday. My grandson was a sponsor of the match to celebrate his Nan's 70th birthday. We would like to thank Sue & Kevin Austen for taking and producing some lovely photograghs, John Devlin for providing us with a small Merstham shirt for Robin to wear, Hayden and all of the players for arranging for Robin to have his photo taken with the players on the pitch, Lynn Baxter for making the members of my family so welcome and finally to Chris Chapman and everyone else at the club for being so nice and friendly to my family throughout the day. Merstham is a wonderful and family friendly club and if there any parents or grandparents who want to give their off spring a day to remember please consider sponsoring a match it was the best £60 that I spent for a long time.

MessageGood result for the 1st team at Hastings on Saturday. Unfortunately I was unable to attend the match, though I am told we were unlucky not to win having had 2 goals disallowed for offside.

Hayden asked me to say a big thank-you to our supporters that made the trip there. Your support during the game and especially after the final whistle was tremendous. The way you all gathered at the exit of the pitch and showed your support and appreciation was a great gesture. It meant a great deal to Hayden and all the players and for that they have all asked me to say a big thank-you on their behalf.

MessageOn behalf of everyone at Merstham FC I would to wish Jamie Cross a full and speedy recovery from his serious illness and that he will soon be well enough to come back to watch football at The Moatside. Our thoughts are with The Cross family at this moment in time.

MessageWhat an entertaining 75 minutes of football last night. No time for a shave !!. Second goal by Merstham number 10 was the best I`ve seen for the season - beat two or three tackles then had the composure to curl one into the corner..

More of this please Merstham as I didnt see one second half shot on goal against Folkestone on Saturday..

Like the idea of half season passes.. lol

MessageHi Rob

The Man of the Match is decided by the Matchday Sponsor and does not necessarily reflect what the Club thinks. I agree Sam had a brilliant game I also thought David Graves played well. Julian Owusu looks very promising a good signing for you. How's Bradley after his knock?

Kevin

MessageOn behalf and The Board of Directors I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Xmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. Your continued support and help over the last 12 months is very much appreciated.
Saturday night The Supporters' Club" Curryoke" was held in The Venue and was followed by The Xmas Raffle draw. The list of prize winners will be published shortly. Thank you to all those that bought tickets and especially everyone that donated prizes. It proved to be a great evening and there were some excellent performances, especially from the duo of Bird & Chapman who led the audience in a rousing finale of The Slade classic Merry Xmas Everybody.
