| Message | Anthony, I'm not sure what it is you feel the board have to come clean about. As we know, Mick Sullivan left as he felt he could take Merstham no futher and wanted a new challenge. As for Graeme, you are correct that we did hit the top of the league however it was very early in the season and we had played more games than any of the sides bellow us. At the time he left we were freefalling towards the bottom of the league and into the relegation battle that ensued at the end of last season. And then there is Andy who has decided he is no longer up for the challenge. I am sure the board would have liked to install a manager and have the stability and continuity they had for all those years with Mick Sullivan but I don't feel they can't be blamed for the manager situation over the last few years. I am sure they will be acting swiftly to ensure a new man is in place ASAP that they feel will bring stability to the club and move us on. In the mean time we all need to get behind the boys and give as much support as possible through what is a difficult set of fixtures over the coming weeks. |

| Message | Well it seems that the only time i come on here is when things are not right. I understand that Taff has quit ? Can you please confirm this ? I really don't know what goes on behind the closed down at the Club, but i must say that in the last 2/3 years we have had 3 really good Managers only for them either to quit or moved on.We all know about Mick, but once again the questions needs to asked why GB went so quickly, correct me if i am wrong but i remember that when GB was in charge the club where top of the League.I think the saying goes if its not broken don't fix it, is it not time that the Club/board came clean with its supporters ??? |
