MessageAfter recent 'bad mouthing' on this Guestbook I will not be posting any messages unless full names are given or people I personally recognise. I dont't have any problem with critism of Merstham FC, if fact it can be useful, but please do not hide behind aliases. I did say this sometime ago but in recent months I have let it lapse.

MessagePretty football but not the results we all wish for, this could be a lesson for next season if promotion is on the agenda.

MessageAs a fellow competitor (Crawley Down) in this league, thought i would wander down and see the game, overall impressions were with the exception of the first and last 15 mins it astonished me how Merstham didn't get anything from the game, as the oppositions goal seemed to bear a charmed life the number of times the ball was cleared off the line, and with the homesters equaliser all hell was let loose with goals galore.

Maidstone reminded me of a beehive 'don't disturb it, or they'll get angry. to recap thought Merstham were outstanding in their commitment thro out, but Lady Luck was elsewhere.

MessageA big thank you to all the lovely 1st team players who have pledged money for my walk on 1st April... It goes to show that MFC is in itself a community hub that other clubs should envy.

Well done for the win yesterday keep the good work up

MessageJust having returned from a month away, and I was disappointed but not surprised to see that Harry Ottaway has left to play football at a higher level with a wage that is way over what Merstham could afford to pay. There have been several approaches for Harry during this season, but in most of the caes I understand that the travelling involved with the other clubs that asked about him was to far from his Croydon home.

I would like to thank Harry, Dean and Adam ( who has I understand signed for Whytleafe ) for the service that have given to Merstham and wish them all the very best for the future.

I am looking forward to seeing the side under Hayden's management for the first time on Saturday and hope that we can repeat the result we had when we played them earlier in the season.

MessageThe press release regarding losing three established players comes as disappointment but not a surprise.

My fears when it was announced that Hayden had got the job have started to happen. We have lost multiple committed Merstham lads especially Harry.

I am surprised we have lost Harry at this stage in the season to a club struggling in the league above. When I am informed he had multiple offers earlier in the season and the previous management persuaded him to stay.

I hope Hayden stays for the long term and does not walk away and take his new players with him and leave us struggling. However, from what I am told we are playing good football and look forward to watch the boys against Godalming

MessageWell Done to Bognor Regis Town for this fixture to take place, Great effort by the team, who had most of the play, great goalkeeper for Bognor, kept them in the match.
