| Message | Hello! thanks for reading my blog. You are right that everyone is a carer at some point in their life, but not everyone chooses to except it and get on with it. My mum had a tumour twenty years ago when i was 5, so i have been brought up with hospitals all my life. As she has been so ill on and off for twenty years i personally havent had to do much caring (physical i mean, always the emotional caring that takes it out of you the most i think) Now she home at last after another 9 month stint in hospital and its almost a relief to be able to look after her. My mum luckily is still has all her brain facilities (she is only 47) but every hospital stint leaves her a little bit weaker and she needs to rely on her family more (which she hates). Keep your spirits up and make sure you at least try and find some time for yourself (i am sure mick wouldnt want you to neglect yourself) Love and Best Wishes Claire http://crpitt.blogspot.com/ |

| Message |  Hi Ruthy & Daddy. I'm glad you both you had a good anniversary. The weather was fantastic and although the garden is going over, it's still nice to get out isn't it. This site is fantastic, are you sure you haven't got Bill Gates working on it for you?? I now know where to come if I have any IT problems. I know I don't really get involved in the more difficult conversations, but reading this helps me understand everything better. Reading your "moans and groans" pisses me off and makes me so angry. We really need to do something to ensure other people receive the help they need and do something to stop the decline and the general appathy that appears to be infecting the services we pay for and that we all deserve. If you need any help, you let me know. I'm sure your content and this site helps, informs and supports other people.
