MessageHello! I am a junior in choral music education at the University of Illinois! I am currently putting together a choral repertoire binder for class, and for future reference, and would appreciate any repertoire for changing voices given, or any repertoire suggestions for changing voices!
Thanks!

MessageI have a large choir of 6th grade boys, about half of which are in the early stages of change. Most still have their upper range but are finding it most comfortable to sing between A below Middle C and F above Middle C.

I have about 50 boys. 8 of them love the area an octave below middle C. 6--8 love F below middle C--up to E above middle C. The rest prefer above the G (G above middle C) Currently am re-writing a GREAT deal of music. Would love some options.... Sea Chanty or something up-beat!

MessageI am a band director teaching choir. We just started an 8th grade choir this school year. I have 4 boys where 2 don't sing out much, 1 is definitely a tenor, and the other sounds like a baritone when his voice finally changes. I have a few girls that are definite altos and the rest are sopranos that don't want to sing low!

I appreciate the help!

MessageI am interested in what music you publish. My small church choir, 8-12 singers, only has 2 men. I am using some older 2-part anthems from Chorister's Guild. Thank you,

MessageRead about this website through a comment thread on the Music Teachers group on Facebook. I would love to find out as much as I can about the changing voice.
