MessageAwesome campground, the best we have seen so far anywhere. We are staying for the next 3 months and have nothing but great things to say. All the sites have 50 amp service, are level packed gravel sites with beautiful landscaping and lots of room. The staff are always working hard every day improving this wonderful place. It may be 17 miles from Colorado Springs, but it is a gorgeous drive and it's centrally located from Pikes Peak and Royal Gorge bridge. Fishing is only 12 miles away in the Arkansas river. We have seen multiple deer, hummingbirds and other wildlife all around the campgrounds, some even as close as the end of our RV. Love this place and will make it on our list of best places to stay as we are full time RV'ers. smilie

MessageWe will definitely do this again. We stayed in the Getaway cabin. Perfect size for 2 people. Clean, well kept campground. Staff were very friendly. Awesome perk to have the stove and all utensils, etc. Didn't have to bring a thing with us. We got to see deer each morning out our window. Located about 30 minutes outside of downtown Manintou Springs, but well worth the drive. If we ever get out to Colorado again, we will definitely be staying at this campground. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and our vacation a success!

MessageOur family stayed in the Ideal Cabin. It was amazing. There was plenty of space for 10 family members. Abby and the rest of the staff was very helpful and accomodating. We enjoyed being able to cook out on the gas grill and sit on our balcony to eat and socialize, but the best part was sitting on the balcony in the early morning and watching the sun rise. There were many deer that walked around the camp early in the morning. If you have small kids, this place was awesome. They absolutely loved the playground area. Thanks for making our trip to Colorado so special! smilie

MessageWe stayed the month of June 2015 and had a wonderful time. We have traveled to many different locations in the US and Mountaindale is our favorite. All of the staff is very helpful and will do whatever they can to help each and every guest when help is needed. The campsites are some of the best we have stayed in with the large space and nice landscape. The cost for staying here is very reasonable for such a nice campground.
A great place to relax!! We plan on visiting every year.

MessageMountaindale is always our favorite place to stay when we are in the Colorado Springs area. This June when we arrived our RV "died" and would not restart.
David, Darren and others spent 2 or 3 hours trying to help us solve the problem --going above and beyond! We were blocking the entrance so they had to redirect incoming traffic--with no complaints to us. David suggested a RV/truck company to call and they were able to solve the problem.

We will be forever grateful for the assistance we received.

The campground is beautiful, serene, and the staff are so accommadating. You must stay here when in the area!!

MessageWhat a great campground. Very clean and well maintained, very quiet with large camping spots for your RV. We were there from Sept. 5th through 22nd.
We saw several deer, some right next to our RV and several turkeys. Only negative comment we have is the entrance is not well marked on the highway and after dark it is hard to find Barrett Road. We will certainly return, love the area, lots to do and see.

MessageFirst class location and staff. We travel over 100 days per year and this park is just amazing. Beautifully designed and maintained. We visited in late June on our way to the mountains and rivers in Colorado. We had to change our return plans to stop back and enjoy this park. We will not pass this up on any travel schedule near the central US. This is by far the nicest park we have stayed in. Great staff. See you soon and look forward to seeing the scenic PV view on the hill
