MessageHi Dick,
How's everything?
I'm playing "Fuller's Reel" that I learned from you around 1976 - The Inside Out Band, in P'Town. Great tune - nobody in CT or elsewhere I've run into knows it! Can you tell me its origin?
Also, when I introduce the tune, I tell little half-made-up stories about you, kind of a legendary Paul Bunyan-type "He was a mountain of a man, fingers like kielbasas, hair as red as the setting sun on a Ju-ly evening..." that kind of thing...

MessageMy girlfriend and I live in Knoxville, TN and were
on vacation last week in the Virgin Islands. One of the highlights of St Thomas was catching The Fiddler and The Sun Mountain Band at Latitude 18 last Thursday night! We had a great meal, lots of drinks, and loved the band so much we got Tshirts
and a CD to bring back to TN!! Thanks for a great time!!

MessageI have helped with a new site of stories inspired by the songs of Bob Dylan, written by TJ Hawk: hawkstories.com. The best one so far will be added on Nov. 29, The Mighty Quinn. It is an uplifting Christmas tale. Let me know if you want to use in some way. Tom
