Vicky: I thank you for these wonderful words. It is nice to have Elrond start behaving like a caring and loving mate for a change and I think Legolas loves it. Yes, after explaining about Celebrian and the baby, and with MIthrandir discounting any magic spells, the nobles really don't have any reason to object. Except for their snooty prejudice,of course. Oh, what an eye-opener it will be when the Wood Elves ride into town. I am enjoying my trip west but I admit I am eager to get these next couple of chapters written. Rayna: Oh that's an honour to be among your favourites,thank you! I am really having fun writing our Wood Elf this way, too. He's quirky and cute and gentle and loyal, as well as an excellent fighter. I'm glad you like this pairing; it used to be very popular but then folks kind of stopped writing it. I've always wanted to write one so I did! Thank you again! |

| Message | I absolutely love this story. It is one of my favourite LOTR stories there is. I adore the way you write Legolas. I think the pairing you have is great. I enjoy different pairing from the norm. I can't wait to see what happen's when Thranduil shows up and the massive prank that Legolas is playing everyone gets undone. Cheers Rayna |

| Message | Loved it! I'm so relieved that Elrond is finally being honest with everyone. Now that they know the truth behind his marriage with Celebrian and his genuine love for Legolas as well as how he regrets his past lack of open support for him, I think things will be easier for Legolas. I think the fact that the pregnancy is out in the open will help too, once everyone gets over the shock! I'm just hugging myself with glee at the thought of Thranduil's imminent arrival. I can't wait to read about everyone's reaction when it finally dawns on them just who Legolas is.  |

| Message | thanks stef! i am so glad you liked it. the next chapter will be lots of fun, but i must be honest.i'm on the road, it could be a couple of weeks.i'm in amarillo tx right now, getting ready to get back on the highway. i also want to say thank you to ceren cae, tanya,and a shadow in the dark,who left me wonderful feedback. the guestbook server crashed and the database,as well as its backup, were accidentally trashed. those lovely compliments and encouraging words are now lost. i did reply and i hope some of you saw that before this happened. i really, really appreciate all the support you guys are giving me. |

I tried to pack a lot into it, and that is where I had to stop. Yes,I am champing at the bit to get to the Wood Elves arrival, and now we are almost there! May be another week before I can post more,though, because I'm on the road right now, on the internet at Panera bread store in Ft. Smith, AR. Heading west, should be able to post again once I'm in CA. Tanya: Ah, so pleased that you enjoyed it! | Message | Hi. It is a really good update. It seems like the stuffy councillors have no choice but to accept the bond between Legolas and Elrond. I don't think that Elrond realises quite how many supporter they have. It seem that Elrond is finally letting some of his stuffyness go and really getting involved and being accepting with the preperations for the birth. It is refreashing to see so many groundwork for future development being made that the story will only get better. I guess we are all learning as we go along the story and Elrond has a lot of infomation to take in. Shocking how quickly the Mirkwood elves travel and what a surprise they will be. I wonder how the two rulers will respond to each other, goven the history behind them. It willl make for some spactaculart fireworks. Wonder why Legolas thinks that he is not a good compared to his brother. I really liked the buildup to the ending where you made us all worried that something bad was going to happen to Legolas or the baby when it was him being extreamly upset about his lack of ability in making pots. I am sure it will all come to him as Celeg'waew takes him under his wing. Really good up date. Please update soon. Just to let you know the link to ch 17 from the icons at the top is not showing up on most of the pages (I didn't check every one) except for chapter 17, you can only access it through next on chapter 16. Thanks for writing such a good update. Keep it up  |
