| Message | i'll go in and put a link in the scrolling marque so it's easier, but the link is all the way at the bottom of the chapters, in where the guest book link is found. i use camino web browser, which is like firefox. if you can't see this menu on your browser please let me know which one you use so i can try and do a code hack. |

| Message | to shadow in the dark: Thank you for these thoughtful words. we are on the same track where this story goes,i think. i am glad you noticed that not everyone despises legolas and it does seem to be mostly those folks who would be in regular contact with elrond and erestor: the nobles. i hope to give amore balanced view of things as the hearing unfolds. elrond and erestor may be surprised to learn that legolas does have supporters. yes, elrond was not very considerate of legolas' feelings in the past. how could he not learn about celebrian? elrond just chose not to think about it and perhaps she made it easier to explain why his sons were so angry about legolas bonding with him.there's a secret they ALL want to keep! i did posy up a missing scenes section, and the first part of it hasn't been seen before,so hopefully that willtide you over until the next chapter. i'mpolishing it now, so shouldn't be too long. thanks again and i hope you got through those exams ok. i hate those things. |

| Message | Hey thanks for the update. I it was a welcome surprise that it was updated in the mist of exams. I did quite had the time to reply then but your update really cheered me up. The citizens and Elrond is sure in for a big shock when legolas' family arrive. I wonder if the regular citizens accepts their lord's choice but its only the upper echelon that dissagrees. I mean the citizens seem quite accepting at Ened Ethuil. Hope everything gets sorted out and that Elrond finally learns not not to keep secrets from Legolas since he will find out any ways. I wonder how Thranduil will react to Legolas being bonded to Elrond. Erestor also had a point though if he or the twins openly declare that Legolas did not bewitch Elrond their sudden change of attitudes could seem suspicious to the councillors. Please update soon. |

| Message | hi vicky! thank you for those encouraging words! so pleased to add Wales to the list,too.  working on another aearlinn chapter, eager to get to the arrival of Thranduil and co. the folk in Imladris could go either way: fear and distrust or acceptance of legolas due to Thranduil's high rank. i think if we can win Erestor over, many of those who oppose the match will be less vocal in their displeasure, too. thanks again! |

| Message | Thank you for the latest update. It really helped finish off a perfect day to find out there was another delicious chapter to read! Reading about the reaction of most of Rivendell's citizens to the betrothal made me wonder what their reaction will be when they find out just who Legolas' father is. I'm so looking forward to Thranduil's arrival on the scene. |
