| Message | Hello Baby Ryan, The Committee just called with the final count and it is $7,922.50. What a wonderful job they've done! As usual, and for all six fundraisers,Penny's Whistle, Jimmy Whiffen, the Trap & Gill and their staff and the organizing committee are to be commended because without them none of this could happen...and we add another thank you to a new band "The Derina Harvey Band" who performed this year for the first time. We are eternally grateful to all of you and you will be forever in our hearts...we are overwhelmed with the outcome. Ryan, you and your angel friends must be celebrating...god love you all. | Message | Darling Son, Your friends came out to honour you again last night...what a party they had. OMG...$7,500. or thereabout (final count not in)...and Gary Tucker won the quilt! The scholarship fund is sitting pretty for a lot of years to come...did you ever realize the impact you made? As parents, we had an idea, but this is awesome! Your sister and Carly were the main organizers but there are so many to thank...those who bought and sold t-shirts, donated, attended the fundraiser and spent their good money...everyone did a part and we are eternally grateful to each and every one. We thank everyone from the bottoms of our hearts...you are so loved and remembered. In the joy of the results, we are saddened still from the loss of such a wonderful man who whistled and sang and ejoyed life to the fullest. On Thursday at the gym, a guy was whistling like you and I stopped in my tracks for a moment...I don't believe I've heard that musical whistling since you left us...perhaps it was about the time Mark and Martine's baby boy was born! Life is such a mystery and we sometimes tend to wonder why God would take such a special person from our lives. | Message | Dear Precious Angel, Imagine, five years have passed already. Never did we imagine we would survive...we now know we cannot die when we want to...we have to be called, as you were. Yesterday we took your Tahoe and drove to Petit Forte, Terrenceville, Grand Le Pierre and English Harbour East...we enjoyed the drive and Dad enjoyed his lunches and meal...lol We have wonderful precious memories of you and we are so thankful to have had you for such a short time. God truly gave us a gift when he blessed our lives with you. You got such a kick out of me saying that you could live at home until you were 44...but that was the kind of joy you brought us...we never wanted you to go away. Take care of Melanie and Dwayne in Cuba, and, of course, Ally. Watch over Chantelle and Joey; keep all your friends (and their babies) safe. Your cousins and family need guidance as they continue on their journey. You have a tall order to fill but you are up for the task...god only takes the best to be an angel. I bet you and your angel friends had a fine Hallowe'en...we love the pictures of you from 2002 dressed as a woman...and a fine one at that!
