MessageHi
I wonder if you know the Italian word for lemongrass? It's a herb widely used in Asian recipes and I used to have it growing in a tub at home in Australia. Here in Italy it is, of course, difficult to find any foods other than Italian. (Dictionaries don't seem to know what to do with the word "lemongrass"!)
Thanks!

MessageI was searching for some good Italian (genuine) recipes especially for risotto and chicken scallopine.

My wife and I were recently in Genova, Santa Margherita Ligure and the most beautiful Portofino where we stayed at the Splendido.

We'll be back next year. We love Italian (especially Northern Italian) food.

I am lookinh forward to trying some of your recipes.

John

By the way, Ligurian olive oil is the very best.

MessageMy grandfather was born somewhere in Italy, we are unable to find out where. I've been cooking Italian recipes since I was a little girl. My dad taught me the ones he could remember. I'm currently cooking pepperanada (I think that's what it is called) with eggplant, peppers, onions and tomatoes. I'm going on memory because I certainly cannot find any recipes on line. Can you help? Also maybe you could help us discover what part of Italy my dad's family is from. I don't know how to go about finding that information. I'm so glad I found your website. Thanks.
