| Message | I must say, I think the SCIENCEBAND is my favorite of the locals right now. I was a huge SHADIRPRUF fan when they were together. Partly for Ryan's vocal style. Partly for Jeb's riffs. Now that I've heard SCIENCEBAND or SCIENCE THE BAND (whichever name is correct) I could easily identify Jeb's guitar playing. The songs were great. Very entertaining. SCIENCEBAND needs a record deal, as well as FISTFIGHT and DRESS CODE CASUAL. Such great music...... |

| Message | The other day, someone said to me, "Why make music if it isn't chart topping money makers?" I'll tell you why: some of us make music to express ourselves, not to get famous or popular. Even the strangest, wierdest bands have a fanbase. Real music isn't for trendy little jocks and barbie girls that are trying to impress their friends by blairing the lattest hit song as decided by mtv. Brian Borcherdt and Paul Murphy got where they are by being true to their selves. To anyone who is just trying to jump on the fame train: I HOPE YOU CRASH! To anyone who is self expressive and creative with music: GOOD JOB! |

| Message | In my opinion, SHADIRPRUF is one of yarmouth's proudest acts. Their music was heavy, diverse, creative, and their live shows were great. Truly entertaining and energetic. I know Ryan does country music now, and Jeb is in SCIENCE BAND, and Roger is in BIG GAME HUNT as well as FISTFIGHT, but goddammit a SHADIRPRUF reunion would be awesome. I've seen many of the local bands perform. None have had an impact on me like SHADIRPRUF. |

| Message | It seems like Balky is one of those bands that would be misunderstood on the count of their unique creativity. But in ten years creative new popular bands will emerge and state Balky as a key influence, Then people will hunt down and dig up those bizarre Balky tunes wondering why they were not popular for their time. Just wait and see... it will happen! |
