Thanks for your recent hospitality extended last Thursday night during our holiday in Cheshire from our home in Hampshire.
Great atmosphere and great beers, enjoyed our evening. Please continue looking after Mum & Dad (Harold & Audrey) and Warwick & Jill for us in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Is there a beer you'd like us to sell? Please try Elland Brewery
What do you think about our non-smoking policy?Excellent
MessageI only get to visit ocassionally but it is always worthwhile. The atmosphere is great and the beers in the best of condition. I especially like the choice of beers - supporting micobreweries throughout the land. The Blue Bell is without doubt the best pub I have come across in North Staffordshire and is easily in my favourites for the north of England. This is what a pub means to me

Which beer has been your favourite?A pint of Watneys Red Barrell in Scarborough 1973
Is there a beer you'd like us to sell?Definitely not Watneys Red Barrell!
MessageAs Neckenders, we have no idea who these people are that Prince Harry has offended. We do share the view, however, that any racist remarks are inapproriate in the multi-cultural Britain which we all voted for. Disgracefully, the Queen has evaded such censure for years. She still refers to her "Corgis" and not the more correct term of "Corgistanis". Those of you who remember Carry On Up The Kyber will be aware that this otherwise historically accurate film was not, in fact, shot in the Kyber Pass but, for safety reasons, in Corgistan, a mountainous region of wild people, to the left of England as you go up.

As a dog friendly pub, The Blue Bell should send a strongly worded note to HRH. If the pub doesn't do it, the customers or Kay may have to write on it's behalf. This will prove once and for all that all those in Hardingswood are measured, rational people, who do not suffer delusions or paranoia.

MessagePlease, Please, Please can you serve a beer that I would recognise as an English bitter. Last night there was the choice of 4 blonds and a stout. You cater very well for blond beer, you even have a choice of continental lagers, but seem set against proper bitters. Of the 7 or so 'Gentlemen from Alsager' 6 of us dislike blond beers and like proper bitters. Many people I speak to in the pub like bitters but make do with blond beers. If you won't serve beers from medium sized breweries, please serve Yorkshire Terrier, Grainstore BBB, Theakstons bitter, Blacksheep bitter, Bear Town (not Kodiak Gold), Macclesfield Storm.

I applaud your ethos, think that you keep the beer very well, enjoy the company of the people that go there but find it frustrating when I can't find a beer that I enjoy. I have even taken to drinking lager on several occasions, because I can't find a beer that I like.

Regards

Dave Hyde

Which beer has been your favourite?JHB
Is there a beer you'd like us to sell?Titanic Engine Room
What do you think about our non-smoking policy?Fantastic!!
MessageMy wife and I have visited The Blue Bell many times over the last 4 years. Although the service and beer is of the very best standard, matching anywhere in the Staffordshire and Crewe district (in our humble opinion) we are very much put off by the damp smell and cold feel. You only have to brush past any wall and it is either very cold or wet - usually both. As I'm sure you can appreciate the palpable smell of damp isn't conducive to a cosy night out in a really decent pub with an otherwise fantastic atmosphere.

MessageThis has to be the best pub in North Staffordshire; certainly it is in the Stoke area. A good all round pub that caters for all [sensilble?] folk. Louts not allowed. Superb. smilie
