MessageHave enjoyed numerous visits to Porthcawl over the years. After not visiting for nearly two years, my husband and I went on a Monday in May.
We went to the beach and we were absolutely disgusted. Talk about encouraging tourists to Wales. The beach was filthy. We put our towels down but eventually gave up and left as we were continually having to brush away rubbish from our faces. Burger wrappers, paper, plastic bags, dog hairs to name but a few. What is wrong with people that they cannot take their rubbish home with them? Have we not got any pride in our country? Also where can you get any decent fish and chips in Porthcawl? Plus don't stay at the Seaways Hotel. Dirty room, Dirty sink, used Tea-cups, Soiled mattresses. plus plus plus.
