| Message | Keep up the wonderful work you are doing on behalf of the Karen people. A Karen student of mine showed me the bilingual picture dictionary; late last year and I was very impressed. It is excellent. Is there a Karennii equivalent?? You will be happy to know the Karen/Karennii community in the Geelong area of Australia have a very positive profile and are doing a lot to preserve their wonderful traditions. I am praying for you all, and most especially for God's blessings on all of you - in Asia and around the world. Cheers! (to use a very Aussie expression!) |

| Message | I'm just learning about the Karen struggle for independence. I'm looking to learn more about folk tales, legends, etc. with the intent of writing them for children. Most of us in the US know nothing about the Karen people, culture, or struggle. |

| Message | I'm so pleased to see this website. I spend most of my day working with KaRen patients, and although I'm a linguist by training, I haven't managed to learn much KaRen in the past year. I'm looking forward to everything I can learn from this website and, as other native English speakers have written, can't wait for more resources geared toward English speakers trying to learn KaRen. Maybe those of us in the USA need to start working on this aspect. Perhaps this is a nice compliment, on the USA side of things, for helping to promote and preserve KaRen culture, even as we help KaRen people to integrate into America ---- without losing the KaRen culture!! |
