After many hours of hair pulling trying to get Vista Home Prem and XP Pro interconnecting properly - and after resorting to using LMHOSTS which was really annoying me because I knew I shouldn't have to - I finally found the answer on your site ... the XP box was working as a peer-to-peer node  Keep up the good work - it's amazing how many sites you have to trawl through which only offer basic info before you come across a great site like this ... now bookmarked for future use!! |
