Fallen treets, blown away branches if not vehicles, uprooted roofs if not giant billboards litter the metropolis. Typhoon Milenyo, which plunged yesterday, stayed true to its name: the first ever catastrophic storm to hit the capital in this millenium. Lives lost, houses either destroyed or burned (yes, may sunog pa!), offices closed, business and commercial establishments' operations halted (including ours), transportation stood still... but we rebuild and move on... |

| Message | Hi, everyone. We were able to meet at Tokyo-tokyo last night under the auspices of Sis Ma. Laida Sotaridona Silatory-Chavez. We chatted, took pictures, had a sumptuous dinner and agreed to do this again next month, this time under the aegis of Brod Nyke. In attendace were Brod Rex Maravilla Durban, Sis Laida, Sis Jeanith Baroy Calvo, Brod Reo Fusingan Feca, Drob Dereen Lacanaria Gonzales (and his wife), Brod Nyke (who promised to bring his wife along with him next time) and yours truly. Brod Nyke will be our coordinator because he has the power to be SMART. Brod Melchor, if there is anyone who would fund the website project, it would be Brod Nyke, who seems to be amenable to the very idea. Konting kulit pa, bibigay din 'yun. Malay natin, baka ayaw palugi ang mga taga-Tate at bigyang bumigay din. Nakakahiya naman kung hindi, di ba? he he he |

| Message | Aahh! It was great to laugh again with you guys. Just to chronicle what I mean, here it is: Last night, Brods Reo Feca, Dennis Montealto, Rex Durban, Derren Gonzales and I together with Sis Laida Silatory-Chavez and Jeanette Calvo gathered 30 past the hour of 7 in the evening to celebrate the 44th year anniversary of the Mu Sigma Phians. We had a simple soiree but the best of it all were the exchanges of pleasantries and a new set of getting-to-know-each-other after quite 15 years of not seeing each other. The evening was not enough for each one's own story, the reason we planned of setting a day each month to meet and hopefully gather some more members and broaden the family away from home. Thank you brods and sis. It was so great to remember our own times during the FRs, every fiesta and other gigs. Oh, the pix! Brod Derren just it this morning. Lauvley! Plus the fun with the cab driver, Sis Laids? Now with the site, brod Melchor contact me (09183370781) and let's talk about this. I'll take charge of the rest of the brods and sis here to fill in the requirements. And hopefully Brod Allan and the rest from the US can read this. What's 20bucks, right Brod Allan? Ciao! |
