| Message | Dear Brods and Sis, Finally, I sign in na -- thanks to Brod Dennis Montealto for informing me about this site naton. For the residents: very impressive. For Brod Melchor: most likely, you don't know me, as all other brods and sis. So my suggestion: Why not bring this site into another level by putting in -- not only the names, for we already have those in our site -- the pictures of all our brods and sis by batches. This may take a lot of work, which you, unfortunately will do most of them; and funding, which a lot of us will help, I'm sure, but I think it's nice to match the names with the faces. | Message | Part Five We were back there again yestrday October 16 2006 to the municiplaity of Sibunag one of the hardest hit by the oil spill. we crossed to a small fishing island of nauhay (not sure of the spelling). We had a mass and joined the university in donating relief goods directly to the residents of the island. We do have other immersion activites in Asilo De Molo every December and September 24 we were at Brgy Namucon in Tigbauan to be part of our foster families and learn from dm thru immersing n dr lives. University wide recognitions and activities include being over-all champion in the Fraternity and Sorority Festival for A.Y. 2005-2006. We are now the movers behind the Augustinian Volunteers for Justice and Peace. We were elected to Student Councils with Sis Dolly Mastilero USASC president (2004-2005), Brod Deken Chua USASC President (2005-2006), many other resident members as officers. Department of Engineering and Architecture president Brod Alfie Pueyo (2005-2006) and Brod Art Postolero (2006-2007). Many others also elected in their college councils. Congratulations to Brod Edcel Babbas for passing the recently held Pharmacy board exam and Sis Romamin Dadivas for passing the recent Nursing board exam. This is all about what the residents and other alumni have been doing. |

| Message | Part Four Thank You to all the alumni who attended and supported the 45th (Sapphire) Anniversary. almost 2pm na kami nag uwian. ulitin natin nxt year. hopefully mas marami nxt year sa 45th anniv ng mu sigma phi sorority. Allow me to discuss our recent achievements starting with City wide activities, Jan 6, 2006, we brough the band PArokya ni Edgar to iloilo for a concert at the USA Gym proceeds were donated to Gawad Kalinga in Brgy loong concepcion Iloilo. October 2005, Urban Nights 2 (A Battle of the Bands) were held at Paseo Iloilo, at Robinsons Place. February 2006 we featured the art Film Ilusyon invinting directors Maryo J. De los Reyes, Paolo Villaluna and actor Yul Servo to discuss the film to our audience together with professors in the university to critic the film. Brod Tomas Sajo and other alumni grace the affair. it was an R18 film... Our outreach programs include: Bulding a house in the GK village in Brgy Loong Concepcion. Our alumni have committed another haus to be donated there by MU SIGMA PHI's 45th anniv nxt year. we went bak dr recently last October 6 to interact with children and give gifts with the College of Arts and Sciences. We also responded to the Oil Spill in Guimaras: We donated one sack of race to the victims dr togethr with relief goods from other sectors of the university. We personally went dr early september and help in the building of spill booms. We wer the primary movers in the university response. |
