MessageWhy is this site singled out? I would presume that there other site around the world that are just as astounding and controversial.

Reply: Why would you presume this? Since extensive geologic evidence indicates that humans and dinosaurs did not live at the same time, one would not expect many such sites to be claimed. One reason many human track claims have originated in Glen Rose is that we have a combination of many metatarsal dinosaur tracks made in a soft substrate, which often resulted in mud-collapsed and infilled digits, and thus human-like shapes. The carvings on loose blocks of rock and mistaken erosional markings were evidently secondary developments after the idea of human tracks in the Paluxy took hold among locals and creationists. As indicated in the other articles on the menu, a handful of other sites were also claimed to contain human tracks, but the markings are even less convincing than those at Glen Rose, and no major creationist group continues to support them. MessageGlen,
Scenice, don't you just love it. When one looks at the evidence and draws logical conclusions as to what events took place and when, the whole World just becomes a more wonderful and magnificant place to live. Your investigation of the many and varied fossils in the rock strata just adds one (actually many) more piece to the puzzle of knowledge which supports the Evolutionary Theory of life on Earth and the tremendous timescale involved. Thanks for your work, Gary B.

MessageOn the side of science (Truth), I have come across the realization that DECAY IS INEVITABLE. The second law of Thermodynamics is clear about this. Natural convection is Hot to Cold. When a substance cools it is displaying a "Decay" in temperature. "Decay" can also be found in living organisms. From conception to death and even after death the body continues to decay. My point, EVOLUTION CONTRADICTS this accepted and understood scientific principal called "Decay" because if evolution was true, decay would not exist. Evolution is all about slight "Improvements" not deterioration/decay, over a very long span of time. If this idiology was not the basis of evolution then Darwin was incorrect in stating that White Males are the pinnacle of evolutionary creation, not Humankind but specifically, WHITE MALES!

BTW, I'm white,blonde,blue eyed...and male.

Engineer: If your claim about universal decay were taken to its logical conclusion, then sperm and eggs would never become babies. Please read about the concept of natural selection, and how it relates to evolution, since it removes your objection. Also, please learn about the evidence that life did evolve, which is extensive and multifaceted.

MessageAfter reading Davids' posting 2010 about the Hebrew word "Day" actually excites me. Peter speaks about "One day with God is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day".
So does this mean that God spent Six thousand "Earth Years" to complete creation? Also how long was the "earth",God used to build this planet, "Without form and void" of life?

Which leads to this next question. Is it possible to contaminate a crime scene? Well according to any CSI show you choose, the answer would be, yes. It is not inconceivable to create a "Fast Fossile" just check out the "Hammer". Very old minerals migrate into a piece of wood or...a bone and a mis-classified fossil is born. Therefore, NO fossil may be used to create any kind of time line for life on Earth.

Before you answer...Think about it.

One last thought...Upon completion of building a barn (Intelligent Creation) it is already in decay. Organization to Disorganization, NOT vice versa

Reply: Doyle, First, I think you missed an important point about the hammer: since it was found in a loose concretion (sitting on a rock, not embedded in it) and has not been conclusively linked to any host formation, it has no anti-evolutionary value. Second, you seem to misunderstand geologic dating. I encourage you to read Brent Dalrymple's comprehensive book "The Age of the Earth" on that topic. Your last comment seems to suggest you think everything (including living things?) can only decay and never grow or evolve, but there is much evidence to the contrary, and a mechanism for the latter (natural selection). Thanks! GK

MessageExcellent website, full of great information clearly presented.

I hope it has the intended effect of making people who interpret this stuff as evidence for creation to reflect much more deeply on the totality of the evidence. Sadly I suspect that for many belief will outweight evidence, regardless of the contradictions this creates in other aspects of their life.

Keep up the good work. Alternately, dont. I think you've earned a holiday.

cheers

Denis

MessageI completely agree with you. I'm so glad someone has the same views that I do. My family has been divided by religious views for years now. I've never been one to accept the creation view of things. I think everyone should be open minded and stop jumping to theological inspired conclusions.

MessageI grew up in Glen Rose, Texas. My first job was at the Dinosaur Valley State Park and Carl Baugh visited our high school biology class (as evolution was a theory, our curriculum required the presentation of opposing theories). I am greatly enjoying the wealth of information presented on your website.
