MessageHi Mick,

I remember you, you were in Anti Tank Platoon, were you not in A Coy prior to that. Very difficult to recall faces, but I am sure I would recognise you if we met.

I am not going to the Tony's fumeral either. I know there are a few from the Exairborneforces site going, Tony was on a few of their fund raising Fan Dances. Always willing to help others if he could, that is how I remember Tony. I am sure he will still keep an eye on the lads whilst they are on the Fan. Rest in Peace Tony.

Tony's funeral will take place at 1320hrs at LLWYDCOED CREMATORIUM ABERDARE CF44 0JD on 23 March 2007. After the service Tony's ashes will be scattered at the site of the crashed Wellington bomber.

If anyone has anecdotes the Padre can use at the service, they can be passed to ASH by private message on the exairborneforces website. Under AIRBORNE ONLY you can find the topic Tony Peers Funeral.

MessageHi Lads,

Unfortunately it is bad news. I have just been informed of the sad death of Tony Peers, Ex C Coy, Machine Guns. He died suddenly in Brecon. Looks like it was a heart attack. Tony was travelling to the hills to train with the Mountain Rescue Team, Tony had recently became a member of the team. Lowrie, Tonys' partner attemted to revive him with CPR, but was unsuccessful. I recieved the news from Johnny B, Johnny B got the news from Chris Kirk. When I recieve information regarding the funeral I will post immediately.

Regards

Kenny W

Rest in Peace Tony
