| Message | In veiw of the lads killed in Afganistan I think people need to see what kind of A....... are supporting the British Forces. This is word for word from a national paper. _Posh actor Rupert Everett has branded British soldiers as "whining wimps" In an astonishing outburst Everett son of a retired major said The whole point of being in the Army is wanting to get killed,to test yourself to the limits. "Now you have to fly 15000ft above the war zone to avoid getting hit. I don't think there is any point in having wars if thats how your going to behave. It's pathetic all this whining. Everett 49 whose veiws came before the Taliban killed three Brits yesterday has just made a documentary on 19th century soldier Richard Burton. Ex- Army cadet Everett added In Burtons day they were itching to get into the fray. Now it's just the opposite. They are always whining about the dangers of being killed.Oh my God they are such wimps now. Which cloud did he get of. HE WAS A CADET IN WHAT ?? |

| Message | Went to the Airborne Extravaganza at the weekend, we had a great time, met up with a few of the old lads mainly 3+2 para and drunk until the early hours, the weather forced an early bug out on Sunday. Lets hope it becomes an annual event and more make the reunion. Well done to the organisers it was really quality show, friends of mine who weren't military who took their families on a day out all praised it as money well spent.  |
