| Message | Hi everyone, I hope some ex 3 Para lads will turn up at Northern Airbourne Forces day at Eden camp 12.07.08. I went to the AIrbourne Extravaganza near Ripon and on Friday night was outnumbered 10 to 1 by ex 2 Para. Luckily I had her indoors with me so was not too outnumbered. After she had sunk 10 cans of Tetleys with lads she took them all on and won. Hope to turn up at camp site opposite on Friday night with Jim Austin ex B Coy clerk. Should be stood to at last light Friday with beers in hand & Jim will probably have his improvised typewriter with him. Contact me at:[email protected] All the best Smudge |

| Message | Though i've visited others in the past I've just found this site by chance. It's so gratiying to see so many old names from the original 'D' Coy on the register. Ossie (Blunden), I still have the photo of you and me in the Malcolm club in Jufair. We both 'scored' that night - if I remember right her name was Fatima and yes the blister has gone!! Great to see Ron North's name there along with Bennies etc etc. By a remarkable chance meeting I met up with Mick Naylor a couple of years back the only ex D Coy member I've seen since '67. I did speak to George Munro a year or two back who sent some of his Borneo pics and exchanged an email or two with Taff Vaughan so would love to hear from any and all of you if you're inclined. Does any one know the whereabouts of my old partner in crime 'Ginge' Myers? or Bob Collier, Mitch Mitchell, Alfie Benson, Mick Hedges or Dave Taylor? If I remember right the saying went "Are we in the Army? No, We're in 'D' Coy" With the very best regards to you all Ramon (Sparra) Wilson (Yes the legs have survived and remarkaby still work!!!)
