MessageI dont know how i have managed to stay off this site for so long. The names that i have forgotten over the years, that are on this site, its just great to see them, and the memories they bring back are countless. Some of them good and some not so good ,especially the hangovers, that go with some of the names.
I went out to the Traz for NewYear 2007-08,and went round some of the old haunts,Dee Dees bar Green Windows,Sweibel Bar,Horsts,to name a few.
Ialso met up with PHIL COX of X C Coy,for those of you who dont quite remember, hes the one who is partial to achew on the odd ear or two.
If anyone wants his E Mail address contact me and i will pass it on,i had a few with him and he is still as mad as ever, had a good laugh anyway

MessageTo all members of the Reunion Club, I am now back on email and ready to hear from any club member that I do not owe money to (that should reduce my emails significantly)!!!

If anybody knows the whereabouts of John (Swerve) Millward I would be most grateful, also Andy Allman who I last heard from somewhere in the Middle East five years ago.
Keep low, move fast,
Blandy

MessageI remember Ted well, him, Dick Wallace and myself from 3 Para, were on freefall course 13 at RAF Abingdon in the early 60's. He was always up for a laugh and a great guy to be around.
RIP Ted

MessageTed Lewington was my friend and mentor when I began Free Fall back in the late 60's - He was an excellent soldier and was an instructor at the Para Regt. Battle school - As CSM of the Freds ( as most will remember him ) He was a real pioneer as far as promoting new jumpers and encouraging progression to enable novice jumpers to realise their potencial - Many young Para's owe their places on the team due to Ted's encouragement and the opportunity he offered them. I for one - from novice to D license in 18 months and a general permit too. Thankyou Ted my friend and supporter you opened the door of sport Parachuting to me and the world of parachute displays. As a guest jumper I made over 350 demo jumps and never missed the arena once thanks to Ted's Tutoring - Thank You Ted I will remember you - RIP Sgt Maj. Mick McIntyre -----
