MessageTerry,

I just wanted to say many thanks for a great evening at the 24th Annual Dinner in Blackpool last night, it was great to see the veterans of the Battalion and the Regiment together having a beer and listening to the stories that have made our Regiment what it is today.

Thanks again for a great evening and all the best from all the members of the Battalion, we look forward to the 25th anniversary which Im sure will be even better than last night.

MessageAs George Duffus has posted what a great shame about La McNally. Good man and soldier who was a staunch member of the Regiment and Club and bore his illness with dignity and fortitude. He and Lynne had booked for the Reunion and they will be greatly missed.

MessageI have just come off the phone from speaking to Lynne McNally who gave me the sad news that regretfully I have to inform you of the sad death of Graham La McNally passed away this morning in hospital from pneumonia. Graham had been suffering from cancer and handle this with sheer guts and dignity as the man he was. But regretfully it was a battle he knew he could not win. Graham served with the 3rd Battalion and was the Regimental Sergeant Major of the 2nd Battalion ending his career in the Army as a Senior Welfare office in Colchester. Graham was easy going and I spent many great times with him by his side. Graham was so proud when he achieved his rank off WO1 and becoming an RSM in the Regiment he loved. He was a true and professional Airborne Soldier who will be sadly missed by all who knew and came into contact with him. We all pass on our sincere condolences love and thoughts are with Lynne and the family who were with and by Lynneā€™s side God Bless La Rest in Peace another gone well before his time God Bless thinking of you in your sadness šŸ™ The Duffus family
