Hey Ron... Long time no see...Finally moved out of Cut Bank and got the family down here in Colorado. Will be going to MT in August. Will stop by and see Les if I get a chance. Was sitting around work talking music and found your website. I've got an 11 yr old son who thinks he needs to be a picker, looking for a good teacher. He played trumpet in the band this year and he appears to have perfect pitch. I am going to try to get to Alaska again in the future...I'll try to look you up at that time, or if you get to Colorado for any reason give me a shout. Kinda fell into the Music scene here. Made friends with Scott O'Malley (Western Jubilee Music Co), he's the guy who manages Don Edward's, Waddie Mitchell, Wiley and the Wild West, Sons of the San Juaquin and a bunch of other Old Timey Western Artists. Lot of fun hangin out with those guys. Email me and we will stay in touch. I still talk and email Gary Tremel on a reular basis and I think my sis is still in touch with Dave Knight. Nice web site!!

Hi, Ron. Nice to see your website is still up and going strong,, and so are you. I remember all the snowmachine rides up in the Pass in Winter, sitting in your cabin eating moose/goose spaghetti (remember that dish), and listening to you and friends jam the night through at a friend's house until the wee hours of the morning. Hearing you play at the TP, etc. Just wondering if the man who was a 2nd Dad to me, Ed Metzker is still around. His phone isn't listed any more, and it was about a year ago. May be heading that way in my RV to sell the jewelry I've been making and designing sometime in the next year. (My business is 3 years old now!) Hope to see you at some point and hear you play again.
