| Message | Accidenti che movimento! phewwww .... Questo é il potere e la magia di chi sa scrivere, cioè creare emozioni. Spero che vi siate calmati un pò tutti, e lasciatemi dire che Franco non voleva sicuramente offendere Bob come persona. Lui colpiva un simbolo. Comunque non sono qui per fare l'avvocato di nessuno, ma per dire grazie a Lynda. Chiunque legge questo blog gioisce delle parole di Angelo perché sono cariche d'amore e di energia. E Lynda grazie per avercelo ricordato, e mi ha emozionato tantissimo leggere quanto hai scritto su di lui. Quando ho conosciuto Angelo ero spenta e con il cuore in frantumi. Il giorno dopo avevo un bel sorriso sul viso e felicemente giravamo in macchina ad insultare la gente e dire parolacce. Passerotto mio, hai ragione, la sua energia positiva ti fa stare bene. Qualcuno qui, su questo book scrisse che alcuni incontri cambiano la vita, ed io credo che tu la mia l'abbia cambiata in meglio. Grazie ancora Lynda. Anna |

| Message | continued.... me, i prefer to try and say thanks for the few good things in life that i have been granted with....be it a moment of respite, or a moment of laughter. ok...on a lighter note.....Angelo's photos have drawn some interesting attention from a few professional sources....and maybe if we all stop bickering we can wish him "in boca al lupo" and know that what we see in his images, others apparently do to! |

| Message | Wanted to say a few words even if it has taken me all day to find the moment when my head was clear and where i could answer without sounding like someone's mother. first, speaking in defence of Bob.....I didn't find his original comment as anything other than sincere....and if i have understood his subsequent post correctly, he may work for an NGO/aid organization. that said, where day in and day out you may be living and breathing this type of story you do occasionally want to see the beauty of life......if only to remind you that it isn't all bad. Angelo and i do that when we go adventuring.....camera in hand and others my seek refuge in cool dark theatres on hot Rome summer nights. the point is that perhaps being mother tongue English, and without seeing my red, white, and blue flag as a group of people to be despised, i merely read his words as they were written without trying to look for something between the lines. but even if their were (ugly intent on the part of Bob) even if he had some truly harsh idea that he wanted to express, we as readers should be big enough to not be provoked by it. if we give rise to labels, one of which could also easily be applied to me, then we become the very monsters we as a group have repeatedly said we despise. and then guess what..then evil wins. |

Premesso che non mi sta particolarmente simpatica la politica americana, anzi, credo sia una politica imperialista-arrogante-guerrafondaia, mi sembra comunque sbagliato dire che tutti gli americani sono uguali. Cosi' ci si comporta esattamente come "loro" (sempre in senso assoluto). Sarebbe come dire che tutti gli ebrei sono usurai, che tutti i neri sono violenti, che tutti i gay sono deviati, eccetera eccetera. Credo che gli idioti ci siano ovunque e in tutte le categorie, purtroppo per noi. Cari Bob e Franco, non conosco personalmente nessuno di voi e non mi permetto certo di dare giudizi su l'uno o sull'altro. Ho risposto ad Anna con espressioni colorite ma solo di rimando ad un suo post, non certo nei confronti di una persona che non ho il piacere di conoscere. Per quanto riguarda il fatto che Bob abbia usato l'espressione "non mi avete capito" invece che "non mi sono spiegato", beh, Franco, scusa se mi permetto, ma lo stesso Bob ha ripetutamente chiesto scusa per il suo italiano... Franco mi permetti una battuta? Hai fumato la pianta grassa sbagliata... vieni da me la prox volta  (e' solo una battuta stupida, spero tu non ti senta offeso)Un abbraccio a tutti! |
