| Message | Wow Vera, That is very interesting. I had no idea they did that in Germany. I have many friends in Germany, as I work for a German owned company, and they haven't told me that. But of course they don't own a pit either. You're exactly right, all they want to do is be loved. There should be stiffer laws & penalties enforced for people that are caught abusing/fighting dogs. |

| Message | Hi everyone, I know exactly what ya mean when you talk about that breed.I have a 6yr old female American Staffordshireterrier-Pitbull-Ridgeback-Mix named:ANGEL.I have her since 2000,she was about 9 months old when the goverment of germany forced me to do a test.We have a Dogbitelaw.Of course she passed it.Now I am registered and my Dog and I get tested every 2 yrs.If I don`t do any more tests,they take my baby away from me.So I have no other Choice! But I don`t understand that there are still People out there,who use those Dogs as weapons.Those Dogs are really innocent,they just wanna be loved! |

My APB, Leo, says Hello  to Storm especially!On a serious note, I am a proud pitt bull owner. Leo is 3 years old, and I have to admit I was leary of getting him at first. My husband brought him home when he was a puppy (Leo, I mean  )and he is an angel and a treasure to me since then. My husband works shift work, which means he is gone all night sometimes. It is only semi-populated where we live, but we have had problems in the neighborhood in the 18 years we've lived here. I am not afraid, though. I have my dog, my gun, and my phone to protect me. Everyone who knows us knows you just don't walk onto our property, and so does Leo.I would like to talk to you more! You can reach me at [email protected]!Saying see ya for now.
