| Message | I am lucky enough to enjoy the company of a German Pit-weiller named Zappa. Most people freak out when I identify the breeds in her. She is without a doubt the best dog I have or ever will have owned. She is everything a dog should be: loving, faithful, protective, watchdog, smart, obediant and a true confidant. I am also against BSL, what a narrow-minded farce and quite ignorant also. Zappa is now 12 and starting to really show her age. I wish I could have her cloned. She can never be replaced, but when I get my next dog I won't hesitate looking into getting an Amstaff. |

| Message | good site!..I am the proud owner of an american staffie that was left to die on an embankment of a highway after being ran over by a car. Jake was rescued and his story was featured on a local news station. Five thousand dollars was raised to help his medical needs(which included a fractured hip..shatterd back leg and numerous cuts and scrapes).I was the very lucky person that got to adopt him and he has brought me nothing but joy and laughter. Jake did lose his back leg..but he has no problems getting around. I was saddend at some of the comments i recieved from other people regarding the PITBULL MYTH" OF BEING A MONSTER". It deeply hurts me to see a such a wonderful breed of animal so hated..abused and hunted..by the very people it will die to protect and please. I would also like to add i (own) a foster ampitbull terrier which of whom is being adopted into a loving home next week..a lab/chow mix 2 cats..3 ferrets..2 rats.. and 2 turtles..not to mention a non furry child (my 12 yr/old son). I have always said "if Jake were a man id marry him! keep up the good work on ur site! |

| Message | You have reminded me why I love my "fatgirl" so much.It is so difficult to always defend her to those who havent met her. My Reba is 7yrs old and she is the best part of my day. Before we adopted her I must say I listened to all the BULL. I am a true Amstaff fan. Thank you for the terrific webpage and links. I am proud to be an owner of a bully. |
