| Message | Joe, Just read your letter in this months Leatherneck. I think we all have that same connection with at least one of our Drill Instructors. I have tried to find one of mine but have not been successful. We admired and feared them at the same time. The DI is who made us a Marine and there is no more pride to be had than that title. Your story is a happy but bittersweet one. I was able to find my best buddy who had the bottom rack at boot camp, we had some pretty funny stories to recall. Semper Fi, GySgt.
